tarout is a character creator and illustrator.

Each of his creations has an established story filled with love and care. This sensation of “birthing something new” is a worldview present in all his creations, which has brought him great popularity not just in Japan but overseas as well. A sample of his most popular works includes the “Gourmette-chan” character created for Christian Dior Fine Jewelry and the “run run ran!“ characters created for Nike+.
